Anita, founder of Piano Journey, is a distinguished pianist and music educator with a rich background in piano performance and music teaching. Beginning her piano studies at age 7 and deciding to pursue teaching at 15, Anita has been shaped by esteemed mentors including Ross Hamilton and the late Professor Max Cooke in piano performance, and Dr. Sue Arney in music classroom teaching.

Now with over 8 years of private teaching experience and serving as a Year 1 Classroom Teacher at Casey Fields Primary School, Anita combines her 23 years of piano playing with a vibrant passion for teaching. Known for her bubbly personality and specialised piano instruction, she effectively caters to a wide age range of students (4 to 50 years old), adapting her teaching to each individual’s needs.

Anita’s mission is to ignite a lifelong love for music in her students, guiding them through their own piano journeys with enthusiasm, expertise, and a personalised touch.
